the hats I wear
And I look quite good in them if I do say so myself!
Game Designer
While working at Big Blue Bubble, I have had a few opportunities to do design work on a couple of projects. With my degree in Game Design and being a part of the Capy Games Mentorship, it has allowed me to work on many prototypes in a team environment as well as work on my own project.
lead qa
Currently working as Lead QA for Big Blue Bubble, I have always strived for my projects to be thoroughly tested whenever a new update is scheduled. I have created detailed test cases and bugs and can delegate tasks and work to other team members.
producer
During the development of Detective VR, I took on the role of Producer and created a development timeline from pre-production to release. I have also received my certificate in Project Management which has honed my leadership and project management skills.
sound designer
Before my career in game development, I was a musician who recorded music and learned many instruments. I took that knowledge and applied it to the games I made to create music that fit the atmosphere of the game as well as SFX. I have also recorded voice actors in a professional studio and can mix and master the sounds I create.
who am I?
Someone great according to my mom!
Currently working at Big Blue Bubble in London, Ontario, as a QA Lead on
My Singing Monsters: Playground.
Having worked in so many fields and for such great projects and teams, it has allowed me to really become a versatile designer.
Whether it be new approaches to game design, the state of the industry at large, or just the release of an anticipated game, it all falls within my love and passion for our medium.
When I'm not working or designing, I enjoy spending time with my cat, Pixel! I also enjoy watching anime, football, YouTube, listening to music, travelling, and gaming.
“Create a world where things happen for a reason and it plays into the logic of the player's expectation. If they can believe in their actions, reactions, results, emotions and conveyance, then you've made a success.”
